The first bath is rarely about the coat. It’s a wet, wriggling puppy who has never done this before, and ten minutes that decide whether bath time is something to dread. Made for puppies from 8 weeks: one bottle that washes and conditions, so there’s no second round.

What it does

• Shorter, calmer first baths. One bottle washes and conditions: a conditioning detangler works in as you lather, so there’s no second product and no second round for a puppy who has never done this before.
• A soft puppy coat that combs out smooth. Coconut oil, jojoba oil and vitamin E condition a young coat, and coconut-derived cleansers wash without stripping it. Comb through while it’s still damp and it combs out smooth rather than fluffing into knots.
• pH balanced for dog skin. Dog skin isn’t the same as ours, so a product made for people isn’t balanced for it. This one is set for dog skin, so it suits regular use.
• A mineral complex independently confirmed as new. Formulated with a globally patented mineral complex of Dead Sea mineral mud, mineral salt, seaweed extract and a Dead Sea probiotic extract. Patent examiners in the United States, the European Union, Israel and Australia each independently confirmed it as a genuinely new invention. The formulation is veterinary-dermatologist-led: built for dog skin from day one, not adapted from a product made for people.
• Made to the same standard as human skincare. Our Dead Sea range is made in Israel in GMP and ISO 22716 certified facilities – the same manufacturing standards used for human skincare. In practice that means documented procedures, quality checks at several stages of production, batch testing and full traceability of every ingredient. Most pet products are made to a lower standard because the rules allow it. We chose the higher one, because if pets are family, the standard should match.

What’s in it

Two coconut-derived cleansers to wash without stripping a young coat. A conditioning detangler, coconut oil and jojoba oil to keep it soft and easy to comb. Oat extract, aloe vera and chamomile to help keep skin comfortable. Vegetable glycerin to help the skin and coat hold moisture, and vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps keep skin in good condition. Dead Sea mud, mineral salt, seaweed extract and a Dead Sea probiotic extract make up the patented complex. Lavender and cedarwood give a light scent.

How to use

Wet your puppy’s coat thoroughly with warm water, keeping the head dry to begin with. Work a small amount through the coat from the neck down, then wash the face last, with care, avoiding the eyes, ears and mouth. Rinse until the water runs clear. Towel dry and comb through while the coat is still damp. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse with clean water.
